So,looks like Lewisville and Grapevine(the two closest blue cat lakes to me)are not doing so well.Anyone have other suggestions(like Worth or EM?)Thanks so much for your help. The low is 40 and the high is 80 something tomorrow, this trip might end up materializing next week,we'll see. Thanks guys,I'm learning a lot about what I know on this forum.

I wouldn't go to EM to bank fish. Almost all of the land is private and most of the water near the banks is quite shallow.

There is a pier you can fish from at Augie's. I've seen some folks catch a number of sandies there. I'm sure there are some blues down there as well. Other than that pier, I don't know of any decent places to fish EM without a boat. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

JB,thanks,I appreciate it.I knew EM was pretty much hard to fish without a boat,I was just trying to make sure I wasn't overlooking the obvious.Do you know any spots on Lake Worth?(I won't be eating my catch.)

Don't hesitate to go to Grapevine. It is a good lake with lots of bank access. She can be fickle but there are some really good fish in there. That lake is usually behind other lakes a little in pattern.

So,I have fished Grapevine twice this year (at Katie's Woods)with no luck.Recommendations?I tend to fish a Santee Cooper Rig and my sinkers/rig gets snagged on the rocks there often.(For some reason that didn't happen at Lewsiville much, and I had a little luck there awhile ago,)If you have advice on spots/tactics/times,I'm all ears(Grapevine is much closer to me than Lewisville.)
