Went catfishing today. What was so interesting was that the water temp fell 10 degrees during that cold spell. The highest temp I saw was 41 and that was in shallow water late in the day. Sure gets the sand bass out of the mood for love.

Here's my prediction....  About April the water temp will warm up just in time for our spring rains. Lake will fill up and muddy up ( typically slowing the bite) The water gods will realize "hey the lakes are full, we need to sell that water down river to line our pockets" there for they will release water down stream ( typically slowing the bite) then when the lakes get low again, the will put water restrictions on us folks and say we watering our yards and flushing our toilets to often!

Went Catfishing today(Thursday). Did well catfishing. Water temp was 50 when we left about 4 pm.
