What molds do you guys use for sickle hooks?
I don't like collars on my jigs I'm just starting to learn to crappie fish and now I'm looking into pouring my own jigs. What are some main things I need to start pouring my own jigs.

Thanks

Most molds will work with sickle. I prefer sickle for all my jigs if possible.

Main things is safety if you are getting started. Smoke, hot metal, heat is all bad things if you are not thinking safety. I would suggest to get a lee pot for pouring (can be purchased multiple places). Get pure lead if possible. Take your time. There are some videos on Youtube.

You can modify your molds a little or a lot to fit almost any size and style hook. A dremel tool is your best friend and JB Weld is an even better friend.
