Good morning everyone I am posting for my son hunter and his partner they were scheduled to fish the high school tournament on sam rayburn this weekend. but while we were prefishing last friday we lost the lower unit on our 250 (think it broke a driveshaft) I have it in the shop but not sure at this time if it will be ready. The boys are sitting in 36th place right now and could make a move up the standing with a good limit this weekend. I was checking to see if anyone knows of someone whould be willing to boat capt. for them this weekend or if there is somewhere to rent a boat for the event. I'll try anything at this point.
We will know today or tomorrow if they can get our boat ready, but was told it would be a long shot.

any help/advice would be appreciated

Good tournament and glad to see your team made it! One my teams (ranked 30th) fell because of similar issues. Weights are moving up and looks like March 30th could bring in some heavier bags.

Congrats on the top 30 Hunter and his partner could only manage 3. Our cove had 17 boats in it tournament morning they made top 60, but did get enough points to move up into top 30 overall standings. I agree if the weather will stabilize the limits should look better at the March 30th tournament. Hopefully they can take a decent limit in the last 2 and move into the top 15 for the finals. Good luck to y'all too.
