Wife and I spent the weekend on Martin Lake and caught a lot of fish. Water temp on the cold side is up to 59 degrees. Friday it was ripping crawdad colored rattle traps through the grass in about 3 ft of water and plastics worked also. Saturday was a lot slower but used same baits. Sunday was white spinner bait rolled slow in 3 to 4 ft of water through grass. Tournaments on Sat and Sun. Saw some good 7&8 pound bass weighed in. Still lots of pressure on Martin. Did'nt see much sense in going to the hot side for all the boats but there's a good bite just around the state park. Largest fish for me was a 5.5 pounder on Sun morn. That's about it. Good fishin!
To whom much is given, much is required.
