I'm going with Howell. What a day he had - 82-14 according to Bass Trakk. That's lights out, just like VanDam did in Michigan during the most recent Major League Fishing event out of Alpena.

But the Classic winner could be Tharp or Evers.

Zona talked about how Edwin always lowballs his weight to Bass Trakk. He's listed four pounds and change behind Howell.

From Bassmaster.com last night:

"It's a tight Classic the tightest! Just an ounce separates first and second places. If you watch BASSTrakk, keep in mind that Edwin Evers always estimates his weights low very, very low. If BASSTrakk shows him with 17 pounds, know that he has 20. I love ya, Edwin, but it's true! Jason Christie will underestimate his catch, too."

Does he have enough to win?

OU and West Alabama tied for the Carhartt Bassmaster College event this week.

Tied!

What would happen if the Classic ended up in a tie? A fish-off?

you are looking at the wrong number, 66-4 for Howell. Randall in it 65-10. Evers is closer than it appears because his actual weights always higher than estimates. Don't forget Texas boy Todd Faircloth as he'll have 62-64 too.

No, that's the number that Howell actually caught today. Bass Trakk lists their position, their live well weight, their culled weight, and their overall weight caught on the day.

Howell - according to Bass Trakk - actually caught 19 bass for 82-14 today. His reported livewell weight is five at the 66-4. Amazingly, he CULLED 55-pounds today!!!

True, true.

I was just in amazement that Howell went out and caught 53+ in the first TWO HOURS this morning.

That might be the best two-hours of Classic final day fishing ever.

Especially if Howell wins.

I like all the guys that have a chance, Howell was one of the guys at Dallas Bass University last year.

Last week, the thread was "Pick your TOp 3". I had Tharp, KVD, and Combs. Only KVD let me down being out of the top 25.
