I have been watching (tv show)into the blue and they cut up kings among other things for chum. Is that legal ?

I would not waste a king fish on that.

Into the Blue is based out of the FL keys, and in Florida it is legal. In Texas, it is illegal to use any gamefish as bait, including spanish and kings.

I would not waste a king fish on that. I would if I could turn a King into a Tuna. Just saying..... Ya, I dont get the big deal, not everyone is just sitting around with a king fish to spare either.... Not to mention you could chum a little and still have some to eat!

I do keep a 5gallon bucket with the scraps from cleaning fish in my freezer.. It has a lid on it and when I know I'm gonna go for shark I toss it over the side of the boat. Its worked every time I have used it.
