I don't throw braid much and haven't had very many good experiences with it. Maybe I'm just using the wrong stuff. I have used Spider Wire several times and it usually lays over each other itself and hangs up. In other words it doesn't cast smoothly. So I'm looking for honestly opinions of what you like and dislike about the different braid brands you have tried.

Thanks for the feedback.

Sufix 832. Cast great. Doesn't dig into spool. Color holds up really good. Last forever seems like.

I've been using Power Pro for 7 years and have no issues with it. Starting to migrate over to Super Slick and am really impressed with it thus far. I have tried 832 and a few other brands and have just always gone back to Power Pro.

Tried out Sunline FX2 last year and its pretty amazing. Have the SX1 on my spinning setup and don't like it as much but for frogging the FX2 is nice

I use Diawa Samurai for flipping and everything else besides a frog. For a frog I use Spiderwire Stealth

suffix 832 is pretty good. my only complaint is the diameter (atleast for 65 lbs.) and color loss. casts very smoothly thumb

Power Pro is solid. Well priced, durable, casts well.

Power Pro Super Slick - its a little more expensive but real smooth, worth the extra money IMO

I have used about all of them, Diawa Samurai is the best imo.

Diawa Samurai then Suffix 832. Both great braided lines!
