Tied some Spider rigging gear up 3/8 head 3 1/2 blades 3/0 hooks

Never went that big on the blades. How is that working out for the catching vs smaller blade?

The bigger blade put out good flash on grenada in spring when the water is muddy.

That's what I use for spider rigging one poleing on 1/16 or 1/8 I use # 2 or #2 1/2 it give a good flash for it too something to get there attention reaction bite is all you will get on those dog day.
