 Any opens on Ivie?

I usually fish the Special Olympics and the Suddenlink Gibson Memorial at Ivie. I haven't seen any dates for these yet and I was wondering if anyone else has.
I realize that the ramp situation is probably the big factor right now. Thanks in advance for any info!

I havent heard of any. Ate breakfast at elm creek this morning and jerry said he hadn't heard of any yet.. midessa boat show is coming up , guess we can see about bassin bunch tourney then. I'm sure the ramp situation has people worried about scheduling tourneys...

Thanks Steve. I'm hoping to make it down in February if we can get a warm weekend.
We outta grab lunch sometime since we live in the same area. We can swap good ole Ivie stories.

Hey guys imoved out here for work is it worth my time to go to alen Henry. We fish Ive twice a yr but haven't voted in this yr yet. Hope they keep the ramp open wanted to take the wife out later this month or next.

Too bad all my good ol ivie stories are 2007 and older. Has always been my favorite lake.. planning on making an alan henry trip myself but from what I hear its very cold right now and doesn't turn on till april and may. Got a tourney on amistad in May and now even worried about that lake. Fishing is tough on all my lakes right now....

In case anyone is interested, the Bassin Bunch does have their open scheduled for March 22 at Ivie. I saw the guys at the boat show in Odessa today. It will ultimately depend on whether or not the ramps are accessible, but they do have it scheduled for now.

what about san angelo bass busters open? any dates set for it yet or are they even planning on having it at ivie

Bass busters is usually april I believe, I can't imagine planning a tourney on ivie that far off

Rochelle Project Graduation Benefit Open on Ivie April 12th (if there is still a ramp) if no ramp then the tournament will be moved to lake Brownwood. Guaranteed $1,000 first place. Info in Tournament thread.

last i looked it was 40 something foot low
That Bass dont care if your in a Ranger boat or a metal bathtub with a trolling motor mounted to it
if he aint biting neither will do you any good

I left a voicemail on a number I found on a website they had, but the site hadn't been updated since 2012.
Another TFF guy, LowChamp01, was trying to get in touch with them too. Hopefully we will hear something soon. I will post as soon as I hear something.

Ok, Harry (the Bassin Bunch club prez) just called me. The Special Olympics tourney at Ivie has been cancelled for this year.
Oh well, I guess now I will just be fishing for fun! I'll be at the lake Fri-Sun next weekend. See you boys there!
