I have both 2013 versions of lakemaster and navionics. It is hard to say which is more accurate on Lewisville, except that the Navionics has more structured marked, like large treed areas, the twin poles etc. I also found the Navionics to be more accurate on Ray Hubbard.
After I learned the lake, I switched back to lakemaster, because on my Hummingbird it lets me color code depths and reset the depths to adjust for the lower water levels.
Then I switched back and at the moment the Navionics chip is my unit.
You could always goto Basspro, they probably have both chips and you could do a compare for yourself.
If I had to only have 1, I would pick Navionics because I fish multiple lakes and seem to like it a bit more. I doubt you can go wrong with either.

I have both in my Humminbird and switch back and forth between them. Both have great features, the Navionics chip has more depth information, 1' breaks but the Lakemaster allows me to target selected depths.
Lakemaster also shows the locations of submerged roads and creek/river beds.
Both of them show stuff that isn't there, humps that don't exist.
As Rob said above go to BP and look at both of them.
It ain't easy making it look easy.

I have the 2010 with updates and the 2008 Navionics chips. The 2008 by far is more detailed about structure and the contour lines. There was a licensing agreement so Navionics could no longer use the data on the 2008 chip. The 2009 was terrible, it's life was short. 2010 is lots better now than when I bought it with all updates, but the detail on Lewisville is best on the 2008 chips hands down.

Do you have the Humminbird or the Lowrance. The Lakemaster has some nice features that only work on the Humminbird and I understand that the Navonics now has some features that only work on the Lowrance. We are moving away from the universal, one size fits all and toward map chips that are tailored for one make of electronics. I have both the 2010 Navonics and version 1.1 of the Lakemaster for my Humminbird, I use the Lakemaster mostly.
