Fishing this Sunday on Lake Cypress Springs. Any help or advice on how to make this a successful outing would be greatly appreciated.

Teach a man to fish and he will figure out how to lie on his own!

Lol must be a few club tournaments out there this weekend. C-Rigged DD-22 in 6 ft of water worked pretty well.

Id look for brushpiles. Heard theyre stacked in them.

I'm headed out this Sunday to prefish for a tourney the following weekend. Still don't have a place to stay. Anyone found a good place to stay out there?

It's going to be colder than a witch's teat in a brass bra but we will be out there.

As of now, I don't know squat.

Ragan's is a food place to stay. They have old trailers but they are clean and cheap. 5 minutes to the ramp at the dam.

The higher numbered trailers at Ragan's are quite a bit newer and in better condition than the lower numbered ones. I think maybe number 8 and below are the older ones.

Also Snappy Pappy's has a number of small cabins for rent. It is down the road a little from Ragan's just before the Bob Sandlin State Park coming from the north.

Candlewood Suites in Mt. Pleasant, a little longer of a drive, but nice place to stay.
