Can anyone share the current water temps on Falcon? I'm trying to decide if I need to delay my originally planned Feb 16 trip because of the unusually cold temps this winter. I know Falcon is tough when the water is cold. I can not catch fish closer to home.

Is there any site that reports lake water temperatures? I couldn't find anything.

it varies a great deal from day to day and also with location. Low 60's currently would be a good average.....You stick another 3 to 5 day cold front on that and it will dip quickly back into the 50's. Feb. 16th is a ways away......nobody knows what the temps or the bite will be like by then. I can promise you that it won't be worse than what we are seeing right now.

Fished on the South end of the lake today.....water temps were below 60 down on that end most of the morning. Sun came out for a couple of hours and we ended the day in State Park Cove with the temp at 63.4. (which was the high that we saw) Fish bit a lot better today and not for just me either.....one boat I talked to caught over 20 fish and he was fishing solo no less. His big fish went 6 lbs.....ours maybe four and half tops.

Fished areas between State Park & Tiger. Best I saw was 60.6, most the day was around 58-59.
