Does anyone have good or bad experiences with the Interstate AGM31M? (it's label says 31-AGM7)

This is the battery Ranger uses now for the cranking battery. It has 810cca and 1200 cranking amps at 32deg. I'm considering using this for my cranking battery to run all the bells and whistles as well as three additional of the same battery for my trolling motor. Thanks as always

Interstate batteries unfortunately now have a long history of being subpar. They used to have a long history of being an excellent battery. I've been very impressed with Deka batteries. In my experience batteries are cheaper if you buy more expensive ones to start with.

I do not believe that the Interstate AGM has been out long enough for many to have an opinion. I was getting two years out of Interstate batteries and was not satisfied with that. I spent over $1000 for 4 Sears Die Hard Platniums over 3 years ago and believe it was money well spent. Hated dealing with the problems on and off the water over batteries.

Check out the Duracell AGM. I have only found them at Sams club. They are made by East Penn (same as Deka). I am very happy with mine going on the 3rd year now. I was going thru the interstates every 1.5 yrs.

I two have the Sears Die Hard Platinum plus. Been running them now for 3 years. They are worth every penny. I can fish for two days without a re-charge!

Interstate 31 AGM 7 is one of the best marine batteries on the market! I have been running them on my boat for two years now and helped provide boat usage data during the developmental stages of the battery. I can run them all day long everyday, plug them up and they usually reach full charge capacity again in about 2 hours. They are also very durable in rough water with reinforced plates/casing to prevent dead shorting like most standard conventional plate batteries. I have absolutely no concerns of being left stranded with these batteries in my boat.
