My dad and I made a deal that we would start every year off on the water. My son is 2 and this was his second trip with the guys. From the looks of his face, I might have me a lifelong fishing partner. I could have gotten skunked and it would have been a blast. I finally hooked up with a 2.5-3 lber and let him reel it in. He had more fun chasing the minnows in the minnow bucket and looking in the livewell than anything. Dad had a pretty good day. The pic is a 4.5 and a 5 and he lost another hard pulling fish. All in about 30 minutes and then it got pretty slow. This time of year is my favorite for fishing. You don't catch many, but they are usually good ones. Hope everyone has a great 2014.
