Went to the boat storage shed and found my trolling motor propeller wound up in the boat cover. I don't know how this happened but now it won't run at all. All batteries are fully charged again. I Googled and saw something about a trip switch but can't find one on my boat. I looked on the red wire coming from the first trolling motor battery. It is a MotorGuide Digital Tour 36 volt on a Skeeter 22i. I am not the original owner of this boat so I don't know how it was originally wired. I have tried all combination of switch settings on the trolling motor and reset all fuse breakers that I could find. All other electronics work on the boat. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would think one of the breakers tripped to save your trolling motor. If not you may have burned it up. You should be able to smell it if its burned so hopefully thats not the issue.
First thing I would do is to measure voltage at the female trolling motor plug. Hopefully it shows no voltage and your troubles are in the fuses.
I don't know the wiring system you have but you should be able to find the problem with a volt/ohm meter.
FIRST THING THOUGH. Get in the habit of unplugging the trolling motor each time you get off the water.

Use volt meter and verify power at bow plug.

Ditto to what Allison said. Harbor frieght sells a cheap volt/ohm meter to keep in the boat. I had a similar thing with a cat sitting on my foot petal. $500.00 cat nap! Don't have a cat now :-). Unplugging it also makes you look at that part of the boat.

This is good advise and double on the unplugging of the trolling motor. I learned the hard way that if you leave it plugged in that eventually the male and female parts of the plug will build corrosion between them and this will eventually begin to build extreme heat which can litterally melt the plug(s). Don't ask me how I know this. I just got into the habit of unplugging my trolling motor as I stepped on to the trailer tongue to pull the boat up the ramp..........
