I have looked all over for chats or forums on good ponds/lakes to but the latest iv seen were posted in 2011. I just want to get out of the house and fish! any good places around Fort Worth and Plano yall know about? thanks!!

Huck, Here is The official TPWD list of Texas Community Fishing Lakes. It's organized by county and you can see several spots listed in Collin. I'm not saying that these are the best or the only places to fish but it's a start and you don't have to worry about whether fishing is allowed at the location or not.

Start with Ave. P and Parker just West of Jupiter. There is a pretty good sized pond and has some pretty good fish in it.
