My wife and I had to say goodbye to our 13 year old chocolate lab this morning and I find myself with a heavy heart and remembering all the great things we did outdoors together. She loved going fast on the bassboat, taking a nap on our barge on sundays, swimming over at party cove on hubbard, jumping in the truck with me wherevever I was headed. These are just a few things spinning in my head as I type. So this is just my way of Saying Goodbye and Thank you for a great 13 years of life and memories. You were loved and will never be forgotten. We will miss you.

Very sorry for the loss of your friend and companion

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

They are family. Difficult to explain if you've never experienced it.

So sorry. I lost a friend last February that I had had for 15 years. Our pets are family members. We just got a charcoal lab - she's 10 weeks old now.
Praying for you - I know how bad it hurts !

Yes, they are FAMILY. I'm sorry for your loss. It is very difficult to same good by. Some people just do not understand how close we can be to our most loyal and trusting family member. May she REST IN PEACE.

Jeff,
I feel for you.

Wardo, My Condolences to you and your wife. Tough day I'm sure.
Hopefully time and the memories will soon bring comfort.
I'm sure I'll be experiencing the same soon with my old pooch.
Take care buddy!
