I will be spending several months in Matlacha (Boca Grande) beginning April 15th through June 15th. I have a 24ft Champion Bay Boat that will be docked at the house I have rented in Matlacha. I would like to have one or two fisherman that would drive with me to Boca Grande towing my boat and helping with expenses and maybe fishing for a week. I have a Ford F350 that tows this large of a boat easily. I live on my ranch in Argyle and have spent my life as a pro advertising photographer, TV commercial director, and movie producer. I don't work full time now and I really try to enjoy life to the fullest. I am a non smoker and a social drinker and easy to be with. If you are interested in this trip please let me know. OH man, you lucky ....... wish I could go, but am being treated for Cancer and can't leave.
I lived in Florida over 10 years and fished Boca Pass many times. Good Luck hope you have a fantastic time. Post lots of pictures!!!!

I went over to Boca two years a few years ago with some buddies from here. For a bunch of guys that had never been and trying to figure it out, we had a great trip one year, going 4 for 12 on 80-100 pound tarpon, and a okay but frustrating trip the next year, watching lots roll, catching one, and hooking a bunch more. One of the guys liked it so much, I heard he bought a house and has a boat there now. The tarpon in my signature pic is from there. Best of luck for your trip!

JWBJR,
What a nice gesture from you first of all. Sounds like you will be embarking on quite a trip.
One of my fishing buddies and I are planning a trip to Florida in the Spring as well. Maybe we can merge the two trips to get you on a guided boat for ideas when you're in your Champion?
PM me some more info and I will return with the same.
Crawfish season will dictate my schedule as I have a large distribution business Jan-July, but will definitely be getting away.

Holy s balls batman what a trip! wish i could go. boca raton is awesome. would love to go nail a monster hammer head or bull shark out of that pass. some absolute bruisers rolling through there. good luck dude and have fun!
