I just wanted to take a few moments and thank Rockwall Marine and BCB for the recent experience I had ordering and taking delivery of my new 2014 Pantera IV. I bought a 21’ boat of another brand a little over a year ago (moving into it from a 19’er). I quickly found that the 21’er just did not fit my style of fishing and was more than I needed. I decided a couple of months ago to downsize and started doing some research on the internet trying to determine the best 19’er that would fit my needs. After reading numerous positive threads from users of the PIV and input from some of my very close friends, I decided on the PIV.
I picked the options I wanted on the rig and price shopped with several Bass Cat dealers. Rockwall Marine by far had the best pricing around the area. I met with Mr. Yetts and discussed options. After settling on the options, Tommy ordered my boat and less than 6 weeks later it was ready for delivery. I can’t say enough good things about the folks at Rockwall Marine. I had bought a couple of extras for them to rig and all I can say is “WOW”. They worked extensively with me on every little detail to ensure that everything was the way “I” wanted it, not how they wanted things installed. Their attention to that level of detail is second to none in my opinion. All in all, a great buying experience with an even better delivery experience.
But, it gets even better. I fished the Bass Cat Owner’s Tourney at Fork a couple of weeks ago. On Saturday afternoon, I hit a stump in one of the areas I normally run and bent my prop shaft. I met with Tommy that afternoon at the weigh-in to determine if there was some way for me to drop it off at his dealership on Sunday after the tournament. Not only did he say that would not be an issue, some of his team were there at the tournament and offered to pull it back to the dealership on Sunday after the tournament. Another “WOW” moment for me, this type of service is very hard to find in today’s boating industry. They pulled it back to the dealership, worked with my insurance company, and got her all fixed up in a little over a week.
To sum it up, I would like to thank Tommy and his staff (Haydon, Bump, John, and others) for making me feel like a part of a family. I would also like to thank Andrew Grills, who took me out for a test ride in his PIV, my close friends Joey Watts and Kurt Ratliff for pushing me towards a Bass Cat and helping me pick a boat that fits my fishing needs.
Lastly, if anyone is considering a Bass Cat in the Fort Worth area and would like to take a test ride in my PIV, feel free to give me a shout.
