Some time ago someone posted a study about fluoro line and mono related to strength and stretch. The most popular brand of fluoro behaved the most like mono in both stretch and strength. I find that interesting. It does sink which makes it useful for a few applications, namely weightless worms. It does not affect the depth of a crankbait, the bill design does that. That is from another study. I would look them up for you, but we all have google. Difference in visibility is negligible enough for me to not care one way or the other. Especially since a fish can feel a baitfish flick it's tail. If it can do that, it can feel me moving line through the water--regardless if they can "see" it or not. So, it leaves me with asking the question, why pay more for fluoro with all it's headaches, when mono serves me well enough. I'm not trying to cash checks, so...If it gives you more confidence, go for it. If you think it's worth the money, then, to you, it is. Buy it. I'll stick with mono.

Also tried to izorline copolymer and I like it as well.
it handles a hard hook set just fine. You're usin a wrong knot. Try a cinch or improved cinch. Zero problems with 15lb invizx I have to tie to a boat cleat to break.

I use it almost exclusively as leader material and I love it. Never had a problem, although I am using Suffix flouro on my stuff

The best thing about flouro is that it is not affected by sunlight and temp. Mono gets damaged by being in sunlight. Another big thing with flouro is that it does not hold water. Mono holds water and this weakens the line.

the rest of the [censored] people say about it is generally advertising gimmicks.

Cost. Otherwise it's great.

That has been proven completely untrue.....getting a crank deeper faster.
