Does anyone know anything about this brand? I was looking into Echo, TFO, or Allen, but I have a frie... access to decent alleged discounts for LOOP rods. I see some of their stuff on ebay, but it doesn't look like too many places offer LOOP. Bad business?

I heard good reviews on them. It seems that the guys that have them love them. I think it's just that their dealer network is limited in the US. And the warranty process was sub par compared to other makers. I considered one, but decided to go with a Beulah, based on reviews and service of the company. Not sure how much discount you can get on the Loop, but Beulah Classics are on closeout at most online dealers. But you can't go wrong with an Echo or TFO either.

I have an offer to buy LOOP Xact 12' 6" 6wt for $248 wholesale. But in that range I could go all TFO with idiot proof lifetime warranties

I love my loop rods. I had a 5wt and 10' 6wt. Sold the 5wt but will never part with the 6wt I have the older AEG series

So why doesn't anyone sell Loop? It seems to be top end stuff. Or did they just go all Albright on us?

The reason is they were not available in the US until recently. Now that they have a US distribution center in Idaho, they are in the process of setting up and finding dealers.
I fish Loop and am very impressed with the rods and the backbone that they have.

Which one are you interested in? You can test cast all them yourself the next two days at the Expo.

Hell yeah they are good. Well worth buying.

Beulah makes a good spey rod too.
