What "is still there"? Who is the lady you are talking about? Maybe you have misunderstood what and where I am talking about. I want to know if the I-10 saltwater barrier locks are open letting water through from the Trinity river into Trinity bay.
thank you

I took a chance and went to launch the boat and do some fishing. The salt water barrier was open. The water in Sulphur Cut was a flowing, chocolate mess. After not getting a single bite in two hours, we left. I am sorry but I am not a charts and graphs guy. If there was some REASONABLE way to find out if the barrier was open, I would have never gone. Something like, hmmm, a phone number that a real live human being at the barrier would answer, would be nice.

Such actions would imply that the government employees were civil SERVANTS thus implying their job description was to SERVE the public. You would be the customer/boss and that would be just wrong. If you brought it up to the right people the answer would be "information to benefit fishermen is not our job description". They should run for congress! Rant over :-)
