My wife is wanting to spend the weekend at the lake and I would love to get her on some of the white bass.
Can you get into them in the afternoon some too or is early morning hours it?

It's been tougher than nails for the White Bass for about a month. If you are comfortable with your electronics, you'll find small, fast moving schools on the Flats and Pelican Island in 15'-25' water. Drop a slab, catch a fish or two, pick up your marker and find them again.

No one on the Lake except for the few Guides as the weather and wind has kept everyone off the past couple of weeks.

About the only folks doing really good are the Catfishermen.

It's way past due for the Fall Feeding to kick in gear, but it just hasn't happened yet.

Good Luck!

Today was the first day I found larger schools of larger fish in several "Fall Locations". EASY Limit of fish acting like their hungry! All on Slabs in 20' plus water. Hope the Fall feeding frenzy is about to kick in gear! smile
