Any opinions on this models. Looking for a 1/4-3/8 oz. jig and T-Rig rod. What is the sensitivity, durability, and strength like? is it worth the 224.99 it sells for. Will be fishing 5-10 feet of water with light cover.

Probably my favorite rod. Throw a 7/16 oz finesse jig on it all the time.

You can't go wrong with a Falcon IMHO. I have several but not the Headturner. I have an Amistad and a Swim Jig model. I use those 2 rods more than any of the older ones I have. Yes I believe they are worth the money.

I use the head turner and the finesse jig rod all the time and absolutely love them. I have quite a few T7's and havent found one thing to complain about.

I've got two and they are great. 1 T-rigged with a creature type bait with 17lb floro and 1 with 65lb braid or 20lb floro depending on the conditions. They are very sensitive and will horse anything out of anywhere.
FISHING NOW NOT WORKING ANYMORE

I have 2 of the T7 split grips, had 2 of the original Cara's. If you are gonna pitch a jig - that is the rod.Works good for chatterbaits too. Light & sensative worth every penny to me.

Awesome rod! But for what your looking for I would go a little heavier(finesse jig). I use my head turner for light tx rigs 1/8-1/4. The amistad is my favorite hands down.!

For that depth the head turner would be an excellent choice. I use mine for jigs up to 1/2oz. I throw football jigs on the first drop with it. It will handle a variety of other lures as well. Also makes a very good dock skipping rod.
Some folks say that fishin on a Sunday is a sin, but if a fish bites my line, you know I'm gonna reel him on in!

Bacosta,
I think you have them confused. The head turner is a heavier rod than the finesse jig rod.
Basskilla,
I use the finesse jig for worming, light jigs, and swim jigs. I use the head turner for 3/8-5/8oz jigging and large bulky texas rigged baits. Then for heavy jigs fished deep and frog fishing I use the Amistad rod. Those three rods do an excellent job of most soft plastic and jig fishing except for C-rigging. Unfortunately, Falcon has never made a good C-rig rod. All I use is falcon rods other than my c-rig and spinning rods. I really like the T7 and Cara micro rods.
