Picture a big cove full of stumps and hydrilla and another cove with just one laydown, brushpile, or dock in the water. Which cove has more fish? But which one could you locate those fish more quickly? In most cases, I'd say the former for the first question and the latter for the second. And if you approach the latter correctly, you might catch a whole limit in a hurry. Check out my November article for the hows and wheres.

Plus a bonus tip on chasing cattle. Hope it helps you catch a few more fish. I tend to step in IT in either pursuit. wink

Nice write-up Mr. Redington. That one isolated laydown in a cove with nothing else going for it has worked for me more than once.

Good article, thanks.

Shhhh. Haha j/k this is a great article. I've picked fish off the smallest price of PVC,stick, or single rock sticking out of water in places where people would just drive by.
