looking for some info on Kistler's Klx Crankbait rod options.i have never handled any Klx's, so i will have to order then without ever touching them. can someone shed some light on their crankbait options for squarebills, medium, and deep diving crankbait rods. what rods are you using for each crank and what are the actions like. i have experience with the dobyns crankbait rods if you want to compare them to something..

I now have 2, not cb models, and love them. One is a 6'9MH for chatter/spinnerbaits, the other a 7'5H for FB jigs &flippin.

I 'had' a 7'3" cranking... loved it... went to pull it out of the rod locker on a windy day last week and a rogue wave hit, lid drops and tears...

snapped it 6" from the tip...

Great rod for the $$$...

I have 3 KLX rods and love them. Call Kistler and describe the type of fishing you want to do with each rod and listen to their recomendation. More often than not you can talk to Trey directly and get his advice.

They have crankbait specific rods available including the new generation of "deep" diving cranks (10XD)
