Port Neches park will put you in the Sabine River. Go south to the lake.

Port Neches park is on the Neches river. Go east towards the Rainbow bridge and you will cross the ship channel before you enter the lake. If you turn left at the channel and head north you will run into the Sabine river.

If you would like to launch closer to the lake put in at Ancelets at the base of the bridge. Nice people, good launch and a store.
