Picked up my two last night and they look like they are worth every penny.

Make sure you get them and all your electronic needs from David because he is a great person to deal with.

And Shut-Up-And-Fish is a redneck friendly business. Heck, he hardly blinked when I showed up with the makings of some bamboo condos loaded in and on my suburban. Good talking to you and I'll get you those coordinates when they fall off my boat.

I have been playing with one and have discover I like this real and feel it will handle the job of snatching them crappie right out of the water. It comes pre spooled with premium Mr Crappie line which I removed and added the BoneHead Braid.

It was good to see you again Ron (aka) BlueNitro
Let me know if you need help setting out the condos....

I got one of these reels from David last week. Construction and looks wise...they're spot on. They do take some adjusting-to though. You won't be casting with these reels nor would you be cranking a crappie up from too deep. But as long as you use them much in the same manner that you would a fly reel, it's a good little reel. I've used mine for slip fishing and they are excellent for that application. I put mine on a 6' St Croix and it seems to be a good combo. Of course I had to remove the 6# mono and replace it with some 20# braid. Haven't lost a jig yet...and the crappie don't mind at all thumb
