Unfortanately I didnt catch it lol. My buddy Justin did. He told me about fishing with crab at the end of the jetty so we went. He caught a 35 1/2 right after casting out and told me to go get more crab i was gone for 15 min and come back to him landing this beauty! Going to do some surf fishing the next couple weeks tired of losing 20$ in tackle every time I go out any one have any tips like on how to reach the second gut with out a kayak? Using a 6 ounce spider weight thinking about using 9 with the high winds like today

wade out to the first gut,if uve never done it before it will take a leap of faith, ull walk out till the water gets kinda deep and a soon as u feel like "guy on forum is bs'ing me" youlle feel the sand start to come back up, and from there cast out about 40-50 yardsfrom the 1rst bar, youlle know where the 2nd bar is because waves will start forming there(similar to how waves form in the 1rst bar) if u can get it past the second bar than bam your in the 2nd gut, http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...est#Post9358267 ive put alittle more detail into it

I got a pic of me(5'11") holding a 44 incher I caught last October.

Give me a couple of days to find it.
