Flew right bye this going 70 plus. I don't open it up unless I'm really confident it's safe -- this scared the heck out of me. It was in about 25 feet of water out a ways from any land. There was a little chop...just enough to hide it. Be careful.

The water is at the level where places you normally run can be dangerous. Usually about 6ft down is when I get nervous in certain areas. Past that and you can get messed up quick. There are a few "runs" that past 6ft you better be idling. Plus there are a few main lake trees that will be right under now.

Running from Powell to San Augustine, there are quite a few just barely under water. Wave action helps you to see them. Widow markers are out everywhere.

I don't know the lake well, only my second time out. But this was around 5 Fingers. There's a little area with about 4 or 5 showing. They all are pretty obvious or are marked. This one is "newer" I guess and is all by itself.

yeah that ones been sticking up for a while if its the one I think it is. I blew by it a while back, didn't know it was there, wonder I hadn't hit it before running up to Harvey Creek. I like to blew mud when I went past it. You need to run between it and the bank, but not to close a couple of those points come way out in the lake too.

Thanks, Billy

Good post, I get nervous when water gets down. The one heading into Harvey is near my house.....so know where that one is exactly!

I'm not old. My bobbers just float a little lower than they used to.

Plenty of these on Rayburn. Be careful careful cause they are sprinkled all over the lake. I have a ton of them marked on GPS. Gets worse headed above the forest and also buck bay now that the lake is down.
