Home from an 8 day get-away to Alaska to celebrate 50th anniversary, I was out on CC this morning trying to get back into normal routine. September fishing on CC last year was tough, but today it was good. Caught 40 mostly at Key Ranch Drop-off and Key Ranch North: 30 whites to 16 inches, 7 hybrids to 24 inches, 2 cats and a nice yellow bass. Most fish caught on a #2 Mepps. On a section of Key Ranch North they wanted a #4 worked fast. That's where the hybrids were caught. Fish caught in 7 to 15 fow. Pics from trip:
