Has anyone fish by the dam at benbrook? Did they turn on the bubbles? Some lakes around here leaves them on all year round.

The bubbles were on last week
Have not looked since then

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Bubbles are on but unless you are targeting tiny yellow bass, I would look elsewhere.

I've fished Benbrook quite a bit, but never seen any bubbles. But I also haven't been out there in a while.

Only thing at the bubbles are tiny shad and yellow bass about 2-3" long. Some tiny tiny sandys mixed in there too.

Didn't catch or mark anything on Mexican ranch, trees, or on the beach

Hamster, not sure how much time you spent marking or even the exact spots in the areas that you fished but everyone of those spots you mentioned is housing fish. Mexican ridge has been holding tons of fish recently w most being caught way out due to the lower water levels.
I have yet to go to Mexican ridge and not see a few boats catching hybrids on it. I have been fishing the hump just north of there due to not wanting to crowd the guys already there.
The bite is slow but the fish are there.
