Funny you ask. I'm going to Cabela's today to look for some.

Brass Pro has the white floating headlight type in Styrofoam. They also have the green 12' and 21" light tube submersibles but they have bad reviews so I don't know if I would buy them.

I ordered some green LEDs from ebay and a section of clear PVC pipe. I am going to install them on the boat and will try to make a submersible green LED light using the clear PVC pipe.

It might not work but it will be fun trying. smile

The LED 16' strip cost $16, which is $1 per foot. (price varies day by day on ebay but this is what I paid.) I thought to double up the strip so that means 4 foot of lights or about $4.

There are 20 LEDs per foot so I will have 80 LEDs in each tube.

The clear PVC pipe is $3 per foot, in six foot lengths. I was thinking about making each one two foot, so that would cost around $6 for the pipe. So I can make three from the section of pipe I ordered.

I have not priced the end caps yet but they should not cost that much.

You would also need ten foot of electrical cord, which I have not priced. Then there would need to be a hook on the end to attach weights plus sealant to keep the water out.

I figure it will probably cost $20 or a little less to make one.

Bass Pro sells the 21" green tube for $25. But they have bad reviews and I'm not sure how the light tube would compare to LEDs when it comes to providing light under water.

It won't look as fancy as those selling for $100 or more but if it works I don't care. If I can make it work I can point to it with pride as something I made myself. smile

If it doesn't work I will still have had the fun of trying. smile

I bought the green tube light. About $32. I'll see if it works this weekend.
