35 miles from saltwater, in a ditch. 100% freshwater. My first ever tarpon. Sorry for the bad pics, kinda hard to take by yourself

Im really jelous. I hope this is a good sign for the fishery, A kid caught up the Lavaca river at Inez, TX this summer.

Sorry for disappearing! Was away for the weekend and work has been nuts this week. I fished the place a few more time but it seemed all the fish had moved out, I jumped two more small ones and lost them but that was it. It was awesome finally landing my first tarpon. Hopefully the next Will be a bit bigger.
