Ok guys, August iS just about behind us and the kids are headed back to school. Every guide slows down in September and to offset that we are offering a heck of a deal for the month of September.

Also, i've had several guys messaging me asking us to do this, so....here ya go! We did this exact trip last year for the same price and folks really liked it.

If you have never got on a hot catfish bite, September at Tawakoni is RED HOT! If you're wife wants to fish but complains about never catching anything or doesn't like 15 minutes between bites, this trip is for her.

These trips are fast action, fun and fill the cooler type trips.

As with all the trips, I give instruction, give reasons why I do the things I do and tailor the trip to your needs.


$225 for 3 guys (only $75 per person.) We can fish up to 7 guys total at $75 per person after 3.

We fish from 6:30a.m. to 11:00a.m.

**this is a catfish trip, not a hybrid trip.** Hybrid Striper trips are $275 for 2.

We kicked off our special today and WOW what an awesome day it was! Had Ricky and Rich...ole cousins and boy can they fish! They limited out so fast I had to entertain them w/ sandies and hybrids!

Great day. Great fun!

I visited Fred w/ Fred's reels to the get the Garcia's ready for battle next month:



We still have bout 6' at our slip...however the ramp is much shallower. No worries, I have tricks up my sleeve to keep us on the water despite NO RAIN!

We still have a few dates available for September Catfishing! Today was off da chain! Despite the little wind we had, the fish bit great.

I'm starting to see a good blue cat bite developing too. More details on that in a few days!

Had joe, his son and father in law on the boat and what a great day it was.

Little Luke flat wore out the catfish including a nice 7lb blue. Fish bit good early and got better and the day went on. Easy limit of catfish today.



I've got these and Teri and I are headed out in the morning to do some scouting for some larger fish. Post results later,

Larger fish? Now you really got my intrest up!!

Don't have any over 20's to report from this mornings scouting trip. But good news is we caught a load of solid fish....several in 8-12lb range on light tackle.

Tons of fun today. I expect this pattern to stay strong for at least 2 months. And, also expect bigger fish to start showing up on weekly trips.

We are going to be there monday cant wait to get our lines wet
