For those of you who launch at Oak Point boat ramp on lake Lewisville need to watch out for a big stump 200 yards directly out from the ramp. Its about 2 inches out of the water when the lake is calm. When its windy you cant see it at all. I saw people tubing right past it and wanted everyone to be aware of it. I have never seen that stump there before.
Also you will drop off the end of the ramp and I walked in the water to check it out and it seems fine. I had no trouble. You drop off 8-12inches.

The gate was closed today. Saw a lot of boats pull up and turn around.

Ramp is closed until the lake level rises. North of the boat ramp, you can almost wade across the lake.
Boats are like Strippers. They work until you quit throwing $100 bills at them.
