Which jig do you prefer to skip under boat docks etc? I have read where some prefer 3/8 ounce Arkie jigs for this but not sure which model. Which colors and trailer do you like to pair it with?

Bulkier jigs with a lighter head skip easier.

Does Walmart carry the Arkie style jigs that are good for skipping? Looked at Tacklewarehouse and did not find the traditional arkie contoured style jig head for skipping. Just wondering if there is anything better.

I throw a 1/8th oz Arlie style finess jig when I'm flipping up underneath docks. Don't know if it's easier or if I'm just that used to it, but if I pick up a 3/8 oz jig I look like I've never done it before.

I like skipping a Omega finesse jig. Get into those hard places where it's difficult to pitch in.

I have read where the Strike King Rage Craw is a good trailer for skipping? I assume watermelon/green pumpkin with any blue/red color to immitate bluegill and white for shad suspending under the docks.
