The first time I tried was monster 45oz and it too was dry really dry.. I ended up giving it away. But after all the success reports with CJs shad under a cork I gave it another shot and im glad I did. I have fished cj next to other brands on several occasions and each time CJs has brought more fish to the basket. I have been debating weather I should try another tub of monster or just stick with shad. Anyone prefer one over the other,

Where can you find the big containers of CJ's? Do you have to order them on-line? San Antonio area. Thanks.

Alright, the plug on this forum and the $4 sale price got me. Purchased a pint of the 'crawfish' and switched between it and DK blood this morning.

This stuff works. Caught 8 keeperz and 16 throwbacks.

Gonna go back this evening to do a little more testing... grin

It's that good,if they are there, you'll catch them. My gallon of Monster I got this year is perfect. And I had riding in truck bed for a month or so.Not thin or too dry. Just like peanut butter! No issues ever with CJ.
If Weldon uses it,it's got to be good. He's back using crawfish blend, never heard how Monster worked for him.
