Great choice.. Levels the field ten fold compared to texoma or Rayburn and I am from the north!

Iam not fishing it but I think it is a great choice not saying were its going to be and then choseing a lake that is not fished on the trail even playing field!

It really doesn't tear up the equipment like y'all saying. In the Bass Open there was more motor failures running down River then parts broken

Great Choice! Championship to be fished in unfamiliar waters to most if not all, and will definetly be a test for everyone and most probably make everyone a better fisherman...Good Luck to those who fish it and congrats to those who made it...

Scale of 1-10 and 10 being the best BassChamps gets a 10. Fantastic idea. Levels the playing field and challenges the anglers. Lets be honest it was down to Texoma, Chambers, Toledo, or the Red with the dark horse being Conroe. History shows Texoma and Chambers don't draw we'll for some reason so the Red was a ideal choice. Thanks BassChamps for settings the standard and making yet another bold decision.

I don't have a horse in this race but am surprised they did not go to Texoma, it is full, have you seen the bags that have been coming from there ? Plenty of lodging and there are casinos close by also. Good luck to all the qualifiers.

I'm a river rat from south Louisiana. I squeaked in the championship on the last event of the year. A good shot of redemption after 2 awful years.
