 Alligator Gar 8-8 An 85.75" and a 71" for some younger anglers

   Top Austin, 14 years old caught this 85.5" x 35.75" by himself with no assistance besides me cutting the eyes off the rod after fish broke it. That is right, 14 years old and kept his head even after things got a little hairy, proud for him. Middle is Dilan with a 71" x 29" which got in a tree but we are able to get it out anyway. Bottom is one of the average size fish, which usually run 4'-5.5' Total we had 6 fish with the three pictured and 2 other alligator gar as well as one of those pesky long nose with a big appetite. Still got some good dates this month, lets go! Thanks, Dawson

I believe they are firmly "hooked" on fishing now. With guys, the size is what dictates bragging rights. Good job in getting those boys some good fish, Dawson.
Trying to catch anything that swims.
