HogOn and I slipped out to Lake Lewisville this afternoon. We launched at the Little Elm ramp around 3:00 pm. and we were off the lake at 6:30 pm.. I couldn't stand the Heat or the Sun so we just fished Bridges. To my surprise we actually caught some nice fish. I would guess we caught 18 or 20 fish and I kept 7 for the freezer. The fish are 14-16 ft. down in 18 feet of water. HogOn was catching them on the White and Chartreuse Thump Buddy, and I caught mine on Lane's new Chartreuse Thump Jumper.

Good job Dutch and HogOn! Stretch is right. I've been out to Lewisville almost every weekend got the past month, and my avg is about 5 to 8 fish. I found some on timber yesterday about that same depth! Thanks for the report!

It's been tough for me for about 2 weeks...might have to slow down a bit or go after the cats.

Any chance you're catching a few bass by accident?? And if yes, is there any size to them? Thinking about making a radical change to my bass fishing efforts-since I cant catch a bass on purpose, I am going to start crappie fishing and catch them by accident.

Nice report Dutch. I need to try and get out there. You were brave to take on that afternoon heat my friend.

Nice fish! You had the same idea I did at Cedar Creek yesterday. When it's 100 degrees, bridges sound nice, even if they're not the top fish holding spots right now.
