Cheese! Now I'm glad I don't have a pic of the one & only drum I caught couple years ago.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I have caught the good ol gaspergoo a number of times while not targeting them. Was fishin with minnows when I had no clue how to fish and caught a flathead cat, 6 grinnel/bowfin, and a gaspergoo.

Then at Texoma this year, caught over 7 goo's using live shad fishin for Striper and Smallmouth.

They are fun to catch!

You don't always need a boat..
But gosh darn it, sure helps!

Caught a few of them on Lake Brownwood this past weekend, using Live minnows near bottom in 20ft of water.

Got this one yesterday on a #3 Mepps Black Fury in the Colorado River.
Not huge, but 22” and probably around 5#. Good fighter!

It’s the internet. Threads never die. And here’s another photo of a little drum that appeared on my hook because posts without pix are lame.
