So I'm heading to Galveston this weekend for a wedding and thought I might try and do a little fishing. Ive never actually fished Galveston and wanted to see if anyone knew of any descent piers or jettis I might could try. Thanks for the help.

Try either Sea Wolf Park or 61st Street Pier. I have had decent luck there this year. Easiest method to use is live shrimp under a popping cork. Good Luck!

Thanks for the help. north jetty if u wanna take a 10 minute ferry ride to bolivar and its free. Sea wolf and pier are $12 to fish. Check tides and if possible have a line in the water an hour before high tide for the body of water you are fishing

Thanks for the help. if the beachfront is calm and you see green water where you can reach it that's where to be. Either wade or go on the finger jetties that are all down the sea wall. Check for an incoming tide and be on it an hoy before. Early morning is best shot maybe before winds get stronger. Haven't checked reports
