I will be going to Falcon with a group for the first time. Will be leaving in two weeks and starting to prepare. Looking for any info or advice on what the fish are doing and what to pack. Thanks

Hate to tell you....but fishing is pretty slow right now. Very few big fish being caught. Check out Tommy Law's fishing report and also Falcon Lake Tackle fishing report.
WORK HARD.....FISH HARDER!

I just got a report back from my group that booked the Condo that I rent down there. There were 3 boats. I hooked them up with my spinnerbait that I throw and they all had really nice fish in the morning in heavy cover where they could find rock.
Each boat adveraged 10 on spinnerbaits each morning. Then moving back and forth from 12 ft. to 3 ft. fishing a lizard on T-rig the rest of the day which got them another 10 Bass. Each boat had about 20 per day in the 2 to 5 lb. range. Still that is prety slow for two guy hammering away all day.
The big fish weighed 8 lbs. and came on a lizard, Watermelon with the tail tip dipped chart. My Tourn. Spinner Baits are Hank Parker Classics that I have tweaked. All have a copper willow main blade with a White/blue/chart. skirt in living rubber. All were using my scent in Minnow on the spinner baits and Night Crawler on the lizards.
Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.
