I will be available to wet a line most of the time between 8/2-8/11. Anybody have plans? Anyone want to get into some action? Let me know if you want to split a cabin or maybe the cost of fuel on a salty outing... At this point I am not opposed to anything, so let's get something going ;-)

Dang it!! Looks like there is another Greenie Tourney on that day. This time it will be at Fork. That one would be a blast as a first tourney. Great chance to get on some hawgs and meet a whole bunch of great kayakers... Decisions, decisions...

Well originally it s just going to be me, I was just going to tent it... but If you are interested I certainly wouldn't mind splitting the cost to soak in some nice A/C. Looks like they still had some cabins available when i checked yesterday.

I don't know Christian, retail has some perks but I bet it is a pita that most would pass on. If I didn't have a family that depended on me I sure would like a change. My wife and some of her family are headed to Galveston for a girl's weekend but I sure am considering inviting myself and the yak ;-) Thanks for the well wishes and let me know if you guys get any plans going that week or following weekend.

I might be down for that. I called earlier and they said 7 of the 12 cabins were still free. If we can get a couple more sure roomies I could setup the reservations in the morning.

I am tempted, but I would have to cast aside the Fork tournament.
