For those who fish for panfish with plastics, you know what a pain it can be when after a few fish the pointy collar of the jighead rips up the nose of the plastic. Gluing the noses back together can be a pain and they never work as well as they did when they were fresh. I've seen jigheads that have cone collars and have heard that they don't tear up the nose or slip down. The couple times I tried them I didn't catch enough fish to know if they fixed the problem or not. I just got some jigheads with wire keepers (Kalin Triple Threat jigheads) hoping that they will do the job.
If you have had this problem and come up with some type of solution or have tried things that didn't work out, let me know! Has super glue or fish glue worked for anybody?
