We might not have caught any fish this weekend, didn't really do any fishin' per say, but we sure put some away   Fried crappie, hushpuppies with sweet corn, fresh picked okra, fries, homemade coleslaw & some of my not-so-famous, but great pintos!   Man O' man, what a meal! Why, we even had brownies for desert! One pan with walnuts, another without!  I shouldn't have to eat again till next Wednesday or so

The Brownies are  Had family up from Houston & across the lake, and a few friends also.

Man alive id just about be willin to barter anything for some fresh okra.. mine didn't come in this year. Idk why...lost my okra and canteloupe both

Idk why...lost my okra and canteloupe both Ouch, my neighbor has one of the nicest gardens I've ever seen. He hangs his fish basket on our fav spawn dock & I slip down in the am's & stock it. In return, I get fresh veg's. He brought over 3 canteloupes this am. Mrs Tboxfish sliced them up & put them in the fridge, but nobody had room for any. Think I'll have to have a pc or 2 now that u mention it!
