Just a heads up. There are 3 Conoco stations that are advertising non ethanol gas on hwy 96. One in buna, on in kirbyville, and one in jasper. The one in jasper wasn't taking debit cards a couple days ago. I haven't tested it but I've been using it. Just wanted to let the word out so we can support these stations and hopefully keep them going.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I have used the one in Jasper but there are also a couple of non ethanol stations in Leesville as well. If you coming from south La there are a couple in Sulphur La as well. There is a Conoco at the intersection Hwy 27 and Hwy 90 and another on Beglis Parkway.

Both Harborlight Campground and Mid Lake Campground on Toledo Bend have non ethanol, about $.15 higher than regular gas.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Thanks for the information. I wish there were more around Rayburn and Toledo!

What's the best way to test for ethanol? Is it fill a test tube with water, then gas, and shake and check the original water level? Or is there a test kit or something. I am using advertised non ethanol stations but want to start testing to make sure. Any help would really be appreciated.

There is a test kit you can buy. Search it on the internet.

The fuel on the gas dock at Powell Park on Rayburn is Non-E.

But it's $4.59 a gallon. scared
