What is the best place for a small bass club to stay on the upper to middle end of Rayburn.

Upper to Middle end, you might be better off just staying in Lufkin.

Lakeview Hotel has been bought out and refurbished. It's a clean place now. It's nothing fancy but it'll sure do for a bunch of ol' hairy legged guys. They have a store with a short order grill. They are really trying hard to cater to the fisherman. They are on hwy 147 right out of Zavalla just before the 147 bridge. It's about 2 minutes from Cassels Boykin Ramp and about 5 minutes from Jackson Hill. That's about as far north as I can think of that's real close to the water.

We completed a stay at Lakeview and I must say what an improvement from last time. The place has been cleaned up and refurbished. The folks there are doing a great job as they try to keep you happy. We did not use the grill, but it smelled great each time we went into the store.

I think $65-70/night but I'm not positive. I'm sure if you're bringing a group they will work with you.

They are just a phone call away.

YHRF is right on the rate. We paid 67.50 a night. Room was clean, great AC, shower was great and TV was Direct.
